Centerville Tidbits
Supporting The Lions Club Is The Mane Thing At the Centerville City Council’s August 26 meeting, Lion Greg Kieselhorst informed council members that the weather over Fête des Lacs weekend was exceptionally bad, and because of that, “the loss to the club will be for more than the insurance was for.”
Council accepted a refund check from Centerville Lions Treasurer Tom Wilharber for various Fête des Lacs events; costs are generally split 50/50 between the club and the city, he said.
Local citizens who would like to support the civic activities of the club within the Centerville community may donate to the Centerville Lions Club at Mainstreet Bank. Other information is available at www.centervillelionsmn.com.
“We’re always looking for new members,” Wilharber said.
