Hugo Food Shelf Offers Free Job Prep Seminar

The Hugo Community Food Shelf is a helping place for people who need a little extra assistance during an unexpected personal economic crisis. After picking up their food allotment, many clients stay and chat with the volunteer staff.

Food Shelf Director Kim Corbett says that staff members have been hearing more and more about how hard it is for food shelf clients, or people those clients know, to find jobs.

Stay-At-Home-Moms? Well, Not So Much

MOMS Club Offers Support, Builds Friendships - And Gets Moms Moving

Two years ago, Jenny Ebel's husband left for Iraq. So Ebel and her two kids, Cameron and Faith, now 7 and 4, went to the park.
