GND 2007 "Hunt For The Golden Spike"
$1000 Prize At Stake!!
Since its inception in 1968, The Hugo Lions' Good Neighbor Days celebration has become bigger and better each year. People come from miles away to enjoy the fun at Lions Park in downtown Hugo. This year, residents can catch "pirate fever" and embark on the second Hugo Good Neighbor Days "Hunt For The Golden Spike," sponsored by Th e Citizen.
"Spike" is, indeed, golden, and will be hidden just in time for the kickoff of the treasure hunt at 8 a.m. on Thursday, June 7. Th is year, however, "Spike" is plastic, so hunters can put away those metal detectors - they won't be of much use.

Bridging, a Twin Cities-based non-profit organization, is well aware of that need. Founded on the idea that extra community resources should be shared with those who need them, what started small in 1987 with one man in a church in Eden Prairie, 20 years later has become a large organization.
