Rock and Pat Wittkkop recently traveled to Sitka, Alaska for their son Joe's graduation from the State of Alaska Department of Public Safety 38th Session. In a class of 44 cadets, Joe ranked 14 and took the precision driving award for the class. Joe will be a State Wild- life Trooper stationed in Soldotna, Alaska. Your parents are proud of you, Joe, and so are we - thanks for reading the paper!
The Gandy family of Hugo (Henry, Amy, Ben, and Xan) is pictured reading The Citizen in Springfield, MO in November at the Wonders of Wildlife Museum, adjacent to Bass Pro Shops headquarters. Says Amy, "We had a great time showing all the critters in Missouri where we are from!!"
