Hugo Elementary Area Project Explored
The Hugo City Council wants to hear from residents living in the area around Hugo Elementary School as to whether or not they are interested in a road and utility reconstruction project being undertaken in the area.
At its September 4 meeting, the Hugo City Council scheduled a public meeting for September 25 at City Hall to discuss the project.
According to City Engineer Jay Kennedy, the project is tentatively slated to include complete roadway reconstruction, water main and storm sewer replacement, and sanitary sewer repair.
The project area would stretch from Highway 61 on the west approximately to Geneva Avenue on the east, and from 150th Street on the north to 147th Street on the south.
