The long-range planning document, which identifi es the goals, objectives, guidelines and strategies for growth and development in the city of Hugo for the next 20 years, contains a wealth of information about where Hugo has been and where the city is going.
Population statistics, housing plans, land use plans, trail corridor maps, and recreational needs are a few of the components of the plan. However, few of those components have been as contentious as the issue of the future of eastern Hugo.
