Lake Drive To Close This Week

LINO LAKES - The demolition of the old Lake Drive bridge at I-35W/Lake Drive (CSAH 23) is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 16 and run through 5 a.m., Monday, Nov. 19.

Lake Drive will be CLOSED between Apollo Drive and Town Center Parkway during those three days. Traffic will be detoured to Apollo Drive on the north side of I-35W, and to North Road on the south side of I-35W.

I-35W will be closed beneath the bridge, but freeway traffic will be diverted up and over the new ramps.

The schedule for the freeway lane closure is as follows:

I-35W southbound lanes- starting at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16 through 12 midnight Sunday, Nov. 18, southbound I-35W will be closed and traffic will be di48.5% verted up and down the ramps at Lake Drive.

I-35W northbound lanes - Starting at 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16 through 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19, northbound I-35W will be closed and traffic will be diverted up and down the ramps at Lake Drive.
