Hugo's City Tax Rate To Decline For Fifth Consecutive Year
Market values Down, New Construction Picks Up Slack
HUGO - The Hugo City Council seemed pleased to hear from Finance Director Ron Otkin that the city's average tax rate is set to decline for the fifth consecutive year in 2008.
Commenting on the preliminary tax levy figures at the council's September 4 meeting, Mayor Fran Miron said that "it refl ects the decrease in the tax rate that we've talked about as a council."

CENTERVILLE - After a December 23 early morning brawl in the parking lot of Sager's Bar & Grill in Centerville last year, five people were transported to Regions Hospital.
