Comes To White Bear Church

Imagine sitting down, picking up a feather and copying the entire Bible by hand. Until recently, this ancient practice hadn’t been attempted by anyone in more than 500 years. Now it’s a team effort among Benedictine monks at Saint John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota and a handful of master scribes in Monmouth, Wales.

Opening the Book of Genesis, this illumination suggests that even
within the strong exploding views of the cosmos at Creation, there is a
structure of God’s making.

Sheriff To “Inform And Educate” Shooting Ban Violators

HUGO - With duck hunting season set to open Oct. 3, Hugo city officials are facing questions about how the city’s new firearm shooting ban on Bald Eagle Lake will be enforced.

The answer, said Hugo City Administrator Mike Ericson, is that the city will work together with the Washington County Sheriff ’s Office (WSCO) to “educate and inform” any would-be violators.
