Hugo Poised To Make Biggest Land Purchase—Ever

HUGO - Years of planning efforts by members of the Hugo Parks, Recreation and Open Space Commission and the Hugo City Council are about to culminate in the acquisition of 125 acres of rural property located near the middle of Hugo if council members adopt a $900,000 purchase agreement signed last week by Kenneth Hansen, personal representative of the Estate of Darrel B. Hansen.

If the Hugo City Council decides to go ahead with the land purchase, this 125-acre parcel located in the center of Hugo will eventually be the city’s largest park. The photo was taken last October.
