CITY OF HUGO PUBLIC HEARING

The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, August 28, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Hugo City Hall to consider the re-codified Zoning and Land Use Ordinance (Chapter 320) and zoning text amendments to address contradictions, conflicts with State law, and redundancies within the ordinance.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN That a City Election in the City of Hugo, Washington County, MN, will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2008, with the following offices to be filled:

MAYOR – two (2) year term

COUNCIL MEMBER WARD 2 – four (4) year term

COUNCIL AT LARGE – four (4) year term

Affidavits of Candidacy for the above offices may be filed with the City Clerk at Hugo City Hall, 14669 Fitzgerald Avenue, between August 26, 2008 and September 9, 2008 during normal business hours. Filings close at 5:00 p.m. on September 9, 2008.
