This Issue's Statistic: There was one trail camera installed in Hugo since our last publication. Crafting A Message: There was a request for extra patrol in the 14000 block of Geneva Ave. N. on Nov. 14 at 9:47 a.m. The caller was having a craft sale and she wanted extra security.

Strategies In Store: Someone called to report that they were locked out of their vehicle in the Festival Foods parking lot on Victor Hugo Blvd. N. on Nov. 14 at 5:22 p.m.

Stationed Behind The Bus: A silver car was supposedly following a bus around on 138th St. N. and Geneva Ave. N. at 3:24 p.m. on Nov. 15. Deputies were unable to locate the vehicle.

Not Leaving One's Faith: One Nov. 15 at 5:04 p.m. someone was locked out of their vehicle at Hosanna Lutheran Church on 137th St. N.

Barely Scraping By: An ambulance scraped the passenger side bumper of a squad car in the 17000 block of Farnham Ave. N. on Nov. 15 at 8:43 p.m.

Fencing An Excuse: A suspicious vehicle was reported in the woods near 84 Lumber on Fenway Blvd. N. at 10:55 p.m. on Nov. 15. Officers located a man who had a flashlight and was covered in burrs. He said that he was looking for his sister's dog. Police noticed two spots where someone had tried to pull up the fence and also found an unsecured door. When his story was challenged, the suspect told deputies that he was going to meet a married woman. Officers ended up releasing him because they did not have enough incriminating evidence.

Simply Moooving: There were some loose cows reported at Homestead Ave. N. and 147th St. N. on Nov. 16 at 1:59 p.m. They were gone upon arrival.

Trying To Get More Energy: There was another shoplifting incident at Nadeau's Market on Forest Blvd. N. at 2:51 p.m. on Nov. 16 when the shoplifter attempted to steal two bottles of a known energy drink. The juvenile suspect said that they did not takeanything but they were referred to the Youth Service Bureau.

Sweating Bullets: There was a hunting complaint at 3:05 p.m. on Nov. 17 at Elmcrest Ave. N. and Jardin Ave. N. Three men in hunting gear were seen about 150 meters off the road carrying firearms in a wooded area. They told the attending officers that they had permission from the landowner to hunt on private property and no legal action was taken.

Woo-Hoo.Woo Who?: At 6:44 p.m. on Nov. 17 someone reported hearing two loud explosions that they thought were fireworks in the 5000 block of 157th St. Circle N. The deputy located some juveniles who were reported to be "about the right age to be saying woo-hoo." The juveniles denied shooting off fireworks.

Constructing A Story: Someone called to report a suspicious vehicle on Freeland Ave. N. between 138th and Freeland Ct. N. on Nov. 20 at 7:43 p.m. A car had been sitting there for awhile and was unoccupied. Officers found that the car belonged to a construction company and that it was legally parked.

Smashing Pumpkins: There was a vandalism report in the 6000 block of 135th St. N. on Nov. 21 at 8:25 p.m. The complainant said that someone had smashed a pumpkin on their driveway and let police know that this had happened before.

A Sticky Situation: There was a report of vandalism in the 12000 block of Homestead Ave. N on Nov. 25 at 7:30 a.m. Someone had put flour and eggs on the complainant's car, forks in their yard, and colored glue on their garage. There was some damage to their mailbox, as well.

Breaking The Ice: Some kids were playing on the ice in the 6000 block of Egg Lake Rd. at 2:22 p.m. on Nov. 25. Officers told them to stay off the pond.


Lino Lakes Police Reports

Outside Of The Pack: On Nov. 16 at 9:19 p.m. a 15-year-old male was cited for possession of tobacco in 6900 block of Sunrise Dr. Curbing The Problem: On Nov. 21 officers received a report that someone was driving a vehicle erratically in the area of 2nd Ave and Glenview Ave. The car had apparently hit the curb and went onto a lawn. Upon arrival, officers investigated the incident and, after speaking with the driver, a 20-year-old male was cited for careless driving.

Not Standing For That: On Nov. 21 police responded to a report of damage to property in the 2000 block of 80th Ave. when an unknown suspect(s) tore down a deer stand on private property.

Getting Grinched: On Nov. 23 police responded to a report of theft that occurred in the 700 block of Apollo Drive at 4:26 p.m. An unknown suspect(s) removed a purse from a shopping cart while the victim was shopping.

Twisting Their Arms: On Nov. 24 a 30-year-old male was arrested for driving after cancellation and possession of a dangerous weapon. This occurred in the 700 block of Apollo Drive at 1:28 p.m. The male was transported to the Anoka County Jail for booking.

In The Long Run: A 25-year-old male was arrested on Nov. 24 for making terroristic threats, obstructing the legal process, and fleeing a police officer. This occurred in the 7500 block of Pattie Drive at 11:07 p.m.. The male was transported to Anoka County Jail for booking.

An Interesting Off-Shoot: A 36-year-old male was cited for violation of a city ordinance regarding shooting single-ball projectile weapons. This man was observed doing this in the 7600 block of Elmcrest Ave. at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 24.

The Story Was Not Inflated: There was a property damage report that occurred in the 7000 block of Lake Drive sometime on Nov. 24. An unknown suspect(s) slashed 4 tires and broke two passenger windows on a vehicle.

Scavenging Barns And (Not) Noble: On Nov. 25 officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked on private property in the 7900 block of 24th Ave. at 9:25 p.m. Upon arrival, police found that the homeowner had a 42-year-old male detained after he was caught inside the owner's barn. The male was subsequently arrested for 4th degree burglary and trespassing and taken to jail.


Centerville Police Reports

This Issue's Statistic: There was one fifth degree assault in Centerville since our last publication. This occurred on Nov. 12 at 3:27 a.m. on Center Road.

Dragged Into This: There was a juvenile alcohol and tobacco citation given to a 17-year-old male at Meadow Lane and Meadow Court on Nov. 8 at 11:05 p.m.

Sobering News: There was one second degree DWI at 4:26 a.m. on Nov. 18 at Mound Trail and Main St. A 36-year-old male was arrested.
