This Issue's Statistic: Since our last publication, one person was cited for parking in a "No Parking" zone.

Back To The Drawing Board:On Nov. 13 at 9:37 a.m. someone in the 16000 block of Harrow Ave. N. reported that they had seen the same design drawn in the snow on three vehicles. Police asked one of the registered owners of the cars about it but they said that they didn't see anything.

Afternoon Pass:Two men in a two-tone van went up to some individuals in the Nadeau's Market lot on Forest Blvd. N. on Nov.14 at noon and asked them if they wanted to buy a home theater. The individuals declined.

Burn Out: At 2:26 p.m. on Nov. 21 someone called about a driving concern. A silver Camaro had left skid marks in the 4800 block of Elm Dr. N. Police issued a citation to the driver of the vehicle for failure to operate with due care.

Going To The Dogs: Two dogs were seen running in traffic at Forest Blvd. N. and 130 St. N. at 6:33 p.m. on Nov. 21.

And This Little Piggy Ran All The Way.To The Neighbor's: A black pig with a harness and a coat on her back was seen running in the 5000 block of 165th St. N. at 6:49 p.m. on Nov. 21. A neighbor contacted the owner by phone and agreed to hold the pig until they could return the call.

To Walk All Over: On Nov. 23 at 7:56 a.m. two walking sticks were taken from a tree on Ferrara Ave. N. near the food shelf. The sticks were valued at $65.00 apiece. They had been chained up and had the owner's name on them.

Tom, Dick Or Harry?: An adult male was taking stuff from a dumpster at a construction site in the 4000 block of Fable Hill Pkwy. N. on Nov. 23 at 10:56 a.m. The complainant approached the man, who had donned a hard-hat and was carrying two-by-fours, and he said that he had permission to be there "from Tom." The complainant knew that Tom was not the on-site supervisor's name or the owner's name.

Out Of The Wood: On Nov. 28 at 1:15 a.m. someone in the 8500 block of 140th St. N. reported that they were missing a cord-and-a-half of firewood. After reporting it, they decided that in the future that they would store their wood in the barn.

A Bad Egg?: A house in the 5000 block of 149th St. N. was egged on Nov. 28 at 7:16 p.m.

Oh, Deer: At 9:02 a.m. on Nov. 29 someone reported that a property in the 6300 block of 177th St. N. had become a "dumping ground" for numerous deer carcasses.

Off The Rack: At 11:01 a.m. on Nov. 29 a Gary Fisher bicycle was reported stolen out of a garage in the 14000 block of Jardin Ave. N. Its value was estimated at $873.

To Take A Holiday: Some Christmas items were taken from a yard in the 13000 block of Flay Ave. N. sometime on Nov. 29, including a holiday projector worth around $40.


Lino Lakes Police Reports


This Issue's Statistic:Two catalytic converters were stolen from vehicles in Lino Lakes since our last publication.

Not Checking Out: A woman was arrested for an outstanding warrant for check forgery in the 6700 block of I-35E sometime on Nov. 18.

The Drill: Someone stole a jackhammer, a drill, and a chipping hammer from a van in the 400 block of Lilac St. on Nov. 14.

Fueling The Drive: A male driving a white pickup truck in the 6800 block of Otter Lake Road stole 15 gallons of diesel fuel during evening hours on Nov. 18.

Things Happen In Threes: Three separate vehicles hit deer in the 6800 block of Hodgson Road on Nov. 19 after midnight. No injuries were reported.

Hold-Up:On Nov. 20 at 6:49 p.m. two men approached another man in a park in the 6900 block of Sunrise Drive and held an unknown object against his head and demanded he surrender his wallet. The victim escaped and retrieved a shotgun from his house and then drove into the park by driving on the walking path. This man was later arrested for attempted murder, second-degree assault, reckless discharge of a firearm, terroristic threats, discharge of a firearm within 750 feet of a building, prohibited discharge of a single ball ammo, reckless driving, possession of an uncased firearm in a motor vehicle, possession of a dangerous weapon, and driving on a path prohibiting motor vehicles. The men who stole the wallet were arrested for robbery. All were transported to jail.

Tired Out: Eight tires were removed from a yard in the 1200 block of Main St. on Nov. 21. On Nov. 17, someone slashed all the tires on a truck in the 7600 block of Appaloosa Lane.

We Don't Want To See Them Driving:Someone was cited in the 6800 block of Sunset Rd. on Nov. 22 at 11 p.m. for drinking and driving and for an illegal window tint.

That Turkey!: Someone removed an inflatable turkey from a yard in the 700 block of Fox Rd. on the night of Nov. 23.

Gonna Find Out Who's Naughty: Someone removed a lighted Santa Claus decoration from a yard in the 100 block of Ulmer Drive sometime on Nov. 25.

We Hope They Look Good In Stripes:Twelve lighted candy cane decorations were taken from a yard in the 6600 block of Blue Heron Drive on the night of Nov. 25.

Testing The Limits: On Nov. 25 at 10:35 a.m. a male in the 6000 block of Hodgson Road took a vehicle for a test drive and did not return the car.

Trying To Change Them:Someone entered an unlocked residence in the 7000 block of Second Ave. and removed some change off of a dresser during the night hours on Nov. 25.

Missing A Robbery: Sometime on Nov. 25 someone damaged a door frame on a building in the 7700 block of Main St. but did not take anything from the building.
