Hugo Police Reports
This Issue's Statistic: There was one possible deportation of an illegal alien since our last publication.
On The Ball: Someone reported some suspicious activity in Diamond Point East Park on May 17 at 12:52 p.m. Police found some juveniles playing basketball.
Think They're Doing Well?: A loud boom shook a residence in the 4900 block of Emmit Dr. N. on May 18 at 10:16 a.m. Police found that it was a well-drilling rig that was making noises across the street from the complainant.
Holy Smoke: On May 18 at 8:52 p.m. someone from Upper 146th St. reported that there was some smoke near the cemetery. Police located the individuals who were making a bonfire and advised them of the burning ban. (Those little devils!)
Keeping A (Private) Eye Out: Someone in the 8000 block of 140th St. N. called at 11:47 p.m. on May 18 to report that he thought someone had him under surveillance and was eavesdropping. He wanted extra patrol.
Bag It: A lit paper bag was thrown onto a door stoop in the 5600 block of 138th St. N. on May 18 at 11:58 p.m.
Everyone Has A Calling: Two juveniles were prank calling Nadeau's Market on Forest Blvd. on May 19 at 9:20 p.m. The employee who reported it said that when the phone rang he could hear the kids in the store laughing.
Cow-culating How To Steer, Er . Mooove The Animal: There were four reports of a loud cow in the 6500 block of Egg Lake Road since our last publication. Apparently, the animal moos all night long and it is an ongoing issue.
No Bull.It's A Pit Bull: A pit bull was reportedly running loose in the 13000 block of Fiona Ave. N. on May 25 at 3:38 p.m.
Don't Fawn Over It: A fawn was apparently lying next to a garage all day in the 13000 block of Homestead Ave. N. on May 25. Around 5 p.m. an officer stopped by to "meet with the fawn" and reported that it "took off like a shot."
Crime Is Fizzing Out?: On May 27 at 1 p.m. someone in the 15000 block of Forest Blvd N. reported that someone had poured soda all over their car. They told police it would wash off without any damage but wanted it noted.
Pursuit: Someone was caught speeding at 165th St. N. and Forest Blvd. N. on May 26 at 5:01 p.m. They fled an officer after the siren, lights and airhorn had all been turned on. Forest Lake Police Department became involved in apprehending the suspect. When the driver went north in a southbound lane on Highway 97, the officers did a P.I.T. maneuver, and the suspect hit the center median. The officers pulled their weapons and arrested the man for speeding and fleeing a police officer.
Stop To Smell (But Not Water) The Flowers: On May 30 at midnight someone in the 15000 block of Forest Blvd. N. called to report that their neighbor was keeping them awake by watering the flowers for over an hour with a garden hose. Police asked the gardener to stop out of courtesy to their neighbors, but let both parties know that there were no restrictions on when one could water their property.
Don't Stick Your Finger In This Socket: A socket set, a Mongoose bike, and a camera/TV were stolen from a residence in the 6000 block of 165th St. N. on May 30. The complainant said there was also some damage to the door into the house.
Stopped In His Tracks: A coyote was reported at 138th St. N. and Forest Blvd. on May 30 at 6:02 p.m.
Keeping Tabs On His Plates: Someone was given a citation for driving a vehicle with expired tabs on May 31 at 8:01 a.m. at 130th St. N. and Forest Blvd. N.
Nailing The Suspect: A solicitor offered Hugo Nails, in the 14000 block of Victor Hugo Blvd. N., a promotion through fliers with their advertising service. The check to pay for the solicitor's services had been cashed but the business did not receive their materials. The report was made at 8:36 a.m. on May 31. Police are looking into the matter.
Lino Lakes Police Reports
This Issue's Statistic: There were six incidents of marijuana possession in Lino Lakes since our last publication.
Do Not Permit Without A Permit: At 6:04 p.m. on May 17 a 22-year-old woman was arrested in Lino Lakes for soliciting in the city without a permit.
A Topic Near And Deer.: A vehicle hit a deer in the 100 block of Lilac St. at 12:51 a.m. on May 17. Another property damage report concerning a deer took place in the 1000 block of County Rd. J at 9:29 p.m. on May 18. No injuries were reported in either accident.
Disturbing Parties At The Party: Police responded to a loud party in the 100 block of White Pine Road at 10:56 p.m. on May 18. A 19-year-old male was cited for disorderly conduct and underage consumption. Other 18-yearolds were also cited for underage consumption.
Gearing Up For Summer: A bicycle was found in the 100 block of Willow Pond Trail at 3:14 p.m. on May 21. The bike is being kept in the property room of the Lino Lakes Police Department until it is claimed.
Trolling For Trouble: Someone stole a trolling motor from a boat in the 100 block of Greenbriar Drive on May 22 sometime during nighttime hours. The motor is a Minnkota and is black in color.
Lessons Learned: Police responded to an accident at Lake Dr. and 81st Ave. at 3:47 p.m. on May 25 when a vehicle was rearended as it was stopping behind a school bus.
Gas Supplies Don't Match Demand: A 12-gallon gas can was taken from a boat in the 7100 block of Sunrise Dr. sometime around May 26.
False Start: A 31-year-old male attempted to give a false police report on May 26 at 2:21 a.m. This occurred in the 7700 block of Carole Dr. The male was transported to the jail for booking.

This Issue's Statistic: There were 3 incidents of underage consumption in Centerville since our last publication.
Don't Be A Third Wheel: A bicycle was taken from a residence in the 100 block of Civic Heights Cu. at 9:15 p.m. on May 21.
Where's Mighty Mouse When You Need Him?: Some cheese was taken by a 19-year-old male from a business in the 9000 block of South Highway Dr. on May 23 at 9:43 a.m.
Under The Radar: A radar detector and some CDs were taken from a locked vehicle on Indian Hills Dr. on May 28 at 9:01 a.m. Loss was valued at $250.
