Wee, Wee, Wee, All The Way Home: Some potbelly pigs were reported in the road in the 6500 block of Egg Lake Rd. N. on Sept. 15 at 10:49 p.m. They had returned home before deputies arrived.
Cop'n A Doughnut: On Sept. 15 at 10:49 p.m. someone was driving their vehicle up and down the road and doing doughnuts in the 4900 block of 132nd St. N.
Patience With The Patient: A man in hospital scrubs and a head brace seemed very confused and asked someone if he could use their cell phone in the 7600 block of 165th St. N. on Sept. 16 at 12:57 p.m.
Odd Duck: There was an SUV parked at the end of the dead end at Fable Hill Circle N. and Fable Hill Parkway N. on Sept. 16 at 5:47 a.m. The complainant had seen someone in the car and they had ducked down in their seat. The individual told police that they were crossing public lands to get to private property to hunt. Deputies told them that they could not hunt on public land. The person had a permit and they agreed that they would not shoot on public property.
Hope The Contract Was Etched In Stone: Someone from the 12000 block of Fenway Ave. N. called at 9:46 a.m. on Sept. 17 to report a missing ruby ring and a missing emerald ring, together worth $1625. The complaint had recently moved to Minnesota and a moving company had packed their belongings. They needed a police case number to be able to file a complaint with the company.
Day-By-Day Rundown: Someone called to file an animal complaint in the 9000 block of 122nd St. N. on Sept. 17 at 3:09 p.m. The complainant frequently goes running in the area and is frequently chased by a loose German Shepherd.
Not Having It On Hand: Someone from the 5000 block of Oneka Lake Blvd. N. called at 6:36 p.m. on Sept. 17 to report that their wedding ring was missing. It was worth around $7000; a silver necklace had also been taken.
Testing The Tester?: Someone failed to show up for their urine screening on Sept. 11 in the 15000 block of Forest Blvd. N. The conditional release violation was reported at 8:27 p.m. on Sept. 18.
Getting His Goat: There were some loose pigs and a goat in the 6500 block of Egg Lake Rd. on Sept. 19 at 12:23 p.m. The complainant wanted to see if there was a possible code violation.
The Shining: There was a report of "Deer Shining" in the 12000 block of Goodview Ave. N. on Sept. 19 at 9:55 p.m. Someone was shining lights into a field.
Moo-t Point?: There were some loose cows wandering in the road at Bayhill Rd. and 117th St. N. on Sept. 20 at midnight. Police were unable to locate the cows upon their arrival. On Sept. 23 there were two loose cows at the intersection of 170th N. and Henna Ave. N. These, too, were gone on arrival. On Sept. 26 at 8:31 a.m. there was a report of loose mooing cattle in the 7700 block of 122nd St. N. There was another report later that day of a loose cow at 9:35 p.m. at 170th St. N. and Jeffrey St. N.
Masking Their Intentions: On Sept. 21 at 6:49 p.m. in the Festival Foods parking lot on Victor Hugo Blvd. N. there was a white Chevy Corsica with a driver who was reportedly wearing a Halloween mask. Sheriff 's deputies were unable to located the vehicle, as it left the parking lot in an unknown direction.
Too Close For Comfort: There was a complaint lodged on Sept. 22 at 7:04 a.m. about a hunter at Frenchman Road and Oneka Pkwy. The complainant thought that the hunter was too close to their residence and that the pond was too small to hunt on. Police confirmed that the hunter was complying with hunting regulations.
You're It: There were some teens loudly playing tag and trying to climb poles at Foxhill and Egg Lake Rd. on Sept. 22 at 11:50 p.m. Officers warned the juveniles to stay in their own yard.
Cash Only: Someone threw a rock through a window of a business in the 16000 block of Forest Blvd. N. and took $1600 worth of cash. It was reported at 1:33 a.m. on Sept. 26.
Kick It To The Curb: There was a report of damage to property in the 5600 block of 140th St. N. on Sept. 28 at 1:24 p.m. Someone had been holding some of the complainant's items in their garage and they no longer wanted to do so. Instead, they put the items on the curb. It was determined that the matter would be dealt with in civil court.
Out (But Not Out Of Bounds): There was a complaint that some people in the 5000 block of Evergreen Dr. N. were playing baseball too loudly on Sept. 29 at 6:16 p.m. The officer reported that they "had not seen [evidence of ] any crime there."
Book-Burning Ban: There was a burning complaint in the 5600 block of 140th St. N. on Sept. 30 at 1:15 p.m. Someone was burning leaves and a pile of paperbacks, and had some carpeting nearby. The attending officer told the individual that they could only have recreational fires. The fire was extinguished and the party agreed to not burn the materials.
Lino Lakes Police Reports
Bicycle Accident: A vehicle and a bicycle collided in the 7100 block of Sunset Rd. at 5:46 p.m. on Sept. 19. The person riding the bike was taken to a hospital by ambulance.
Bark Worse Than The Bite?: A 37-year-old male was cited for barking dogs in the 500 block of Ash St. on Sept. 20 at 1:19 p.m.
Proceeding To Deport: There was one male arrested on a deportation warrant in the 1300 block of I-35W at 11:09 p.m. on Sept. 20. Decision At Collision: Two vehicles collided in the 600 block of I- 35W on Sept. 21 at 12:20 p.m. There were no serious injuries and medical treatment was declined by both parties.
Shattered By The News: Someone damaged some windows on a building in the 7700 block of Lake Dr. on Sept. 21 at an unknown time.
Legendary Crime: While officers were on patrol the night of Sept. 26, they observed two young females walking on the side of an unnamed road in Lino Lakes. After talking to them, they subsequently arrested a 19-year-old female for underage consumption of alcohol and possession of legend drug without a prescription. The other white female was arrested for driving after revocation, selling a legend drug and possession of a small amount of marijuana.
