Who Saw It?: Several hand tools and some power tools were taken sometime during night hours on Feb. 20 from a vacant residence in the 200 block of Baldwin Circle.

Swing Low, Sweet Semi: A vehicle struck a power pole at 4:24 a.m. on Feb. 23 in the 7700 block of Lake Dr. The power lines were hanging low as a result of this collision and the vehicle then left the scene. A semi-truck then hit the lines and they fell across the road. No injuries were reported.

Sounding Off: Someone cut off a convertible top of a car, entered the locked vehicle, and stole a speaker box in the 700 block of Beaver Circle sometime during night hours on Feb. 23.

How Many Suspects Does It Take To Change A Lightbulb?: Some bushes, some boulders, and some solar floodlights were damaged in the 7800 block of Marilyn Dr. during the night of Feb. 25.

Getting Icy Stares: There were seven incidents that occurred due to icy road conditions since our last publication. Two vehicles collided in the 7700 block of Main St at 2:09 p.m. on March 1, and another vehicle slid into a sign in the 2300 block of Main St. at 2:45 p.m. that same day. A snowmobile collided with a vehicle in the 1000 of Evergreen Trail at 2: 49 p.m. on March 2, and a driver lost control in the 900 block of I-35W while changing lanes and rolled over. No injuries were reported in any of these accidents.

To Fold The Bills: Three males were reportedly doing something suspicious in the 6200 block of Red Maple Lane at 2:40 a.m. on March 2. They were later arrested for tampering with a motor vehicle and theft since they stole a billfold and cash.

Did Your Old Vacuum Bite the Dust?: At 7:32 p.m. on March 2 a female and a male were arrested in the 700 block of Apollo Dr. for shoplifting a vacuum cleaner and some clothes. Both also had possession of a controlled substance.

The Lights Are On But Nobody's Home: A juvenile male was cited for operating a snowmobile without a helmet in the 6400 block of Ware Rd. at 6:24 p.m. on March 5.

Get Yer Mitts Off My Gloves: On March 6 during nighttime hours, someone entered a vehicle in the 6300 block of Red Maple Lane and removed a pair of green wool gloves.

This Issue's Statistic: Since our last publication there was one 911 call where someone was seen taking books from a car. (An easier, no-cost alternative without consequences? The public library.)

Get My Drift: There were 17 winter parking violations in the last two weeks.

What Happened To Knock, Knock, Who's There?: Two juveniles were playing ding-dong ditch in the 6000 block of 152nd St. N. on Feb. 23 at 9:54 p.m.

"Dog Day Afternoon": On Feb. 25 at midnight two snowmobiles were going up and down Fenway Blvd. N. near 140th St., causing the dogs in the area to get excited. When deputies arrived on-scene and spoke to the drivers, they agreed to quit riding for the night.

The Family That Plays Together, Stays Together: At 5:53 p.m. on Feb. 26, a father and son were seen playing in the snow on 130th St. N. near Hwy 61. Someone who had driven by had called police because they were not sure what was going on.

Bush-Whacked: Six snowmobiles were seen going very fast in the 6000 block of 147th St. N. on Feb. 26 at 6:32 p.m. They had apparently run over some bushes. Law enforcement personnel advised them to stay on the trail.

A Million Little Pieces: A windshield flew off a trailer in the15000 block of Forest Blvd. N. on Feb. 27 at 1:23 p.m. It shattered on the roadway and the driver was issued a citation for a leaky load.

Not A Powerful Enough Point?: On Feb. 27 at 3:52 p.m. a woman called the police station to say that she had given her boyfriend a Powerpoint presentation about why she wanted to break up with him but that he wasn't getting it.

The Missing File: Someone from 165th St. N. and Forest Blvd. called on Feb. 28 at 7:47 p.m. to report that they had found a stolen file cabinet, some tools and some wire in their garage but that they didn't know how it had arrived there.

Punch Drunk Love?: An intoxicated individual started a fistfight at Ricci's Cantina on March 1 at 2:15 a.m. He was issued a citation for disorderly conduct.

Put Up Your Dukes: Someone in the 15000 block of Forest Blvd. N. called on March 1 at 9:17 p.m. to report that someone had tried to hit their car with a snowblower. When the complainant approached this person, they said, "Put up your dukes!"

Listening To The Postal Service: Two water-soaked piles of mail were found in the 4600 block of Europa Ave. N. on March 3 at 1:15 p.m. Deputies advised the local mail carrier and will notify postal inspection.

Hay, It Snowed: On March 3 at 3:35 p.m. two snowmobiles were seen revving through the hayfields at 147th St. N. and Finale. The riders were advised that this was private property. They apologized and agreed to stay on the trails in the future.

Prepare to Meet Your (Pizza) Maker: A car was reportedly seen running in the ditch with its lights on in a yard at 165th St. N. and Fenway Ave. N. on March 3 at 8:12 p.m. It turned out that the driver was delivering a pizza.

Stumped By The Coneheads: Orange traffic cones were put up to mark a tree stump on a trail near Jody Ave. N. on March 4 at 3:55 a.m. A rider had hit a stump with a sled and just wanted police to know that these were put there to mark the obstacle.

Across The Board: Two juvenile males were seen snowboarding off the roof of a building in Lions Park on March 6 at 5:57 p.m. Deputies explained to the teens that this was a liability concern and that they should not do it.
