On The Ram-page: On July 2 at 10:04 a.m. deputies responded to a report of road rage on 170th St. N. The complainant stated that a Dodge Ram had attempted to run them off the road. Officers were unable to locate the suspect.
Getting a Bang Out Of It: Someone on Farnham Dr. N. reported that some juveniles were setting off fireworks throughout the neighborhood on July 5 at 11:03 p.m. Deputies located the juvenile suspects who appeared to be walking down the street and throwing the fireworks onto yards and driveways. The fireworks and lighters were confiscated.
Hot Wheels: On July 5 at 3:08 p.m. deputies responded to a theft report at a business on Forest Blvd. N. The complainant stated that they entered the business and left their red e-scooter on the sidewalk in front. When they came out it was gone.
Taking The Morning Chill (Off): On July 6, deputies responded to a report of suspicious activity on 145th St. N. at 1:23 a.m. when someone saw a truck with a trailer driving behind the lumberyard. Police drove behind the business and found the individuals loading refrigerators onto the trailer. Although they appeared very nervous, they said they had permission to remove and scrap them.
Throwing Caution To The Wind(ow): On July 8, a resident on 140th St. N. filed a report of damaged property. The complainant stated that he was working on his vehicle which was parked on the street, when a suspicious grey vehicle drove by and threw a firecracker into the window, damaging the door. No injuries were reported.
Back In Black: A resident on Victor Hugo Blvd. N. reported on July 8, that there were four suspicious black trucks parked on the back of the property. The trucks appeared to be abandoned. When officers arrived, they ran a check on the plates and learned that none of the owners were from the area and that none of the vehicles had been reported stolen. All four of the trucks were towed.

They Got Their Lines Crossed: Police respond to a property damage report at 12:35 p.m. on June 27 at the Peltier Lake Dam. Upon arrival, contact was made with the complainant, who stated that while fishing he had crossed lines with the suspect, who started an argument. The suspect then allegedly broke the complainant’s fishing pole in two. The suspect was issued a citation for damage to property.
Did He Come From The School Of Hard Knocks?: On July 2 at 10:47 a.m. officers responded to a motor vehicle property damage complaint in the 1200 block of Birch Street. A 16-yearold male from Lino Lakes fell asleep on his way home from school and collided with a mailbox.
They Didn’t Like His Point Of View: While on routine patrol on July 8 at 7:46 a.m. in the 7600 block of Lake Drive, police stopped a vehicle for obstructed view. The driver, a 21-year-old male from Isanti, was subsequently arrested for 4th degree DWI.
Going Through The Change: On July 11 at 8:19 p.m. officers responded to a report of property damage and theft in the 7700 block of Lake Dr. Police made contact with the business owner, who stated that his soda machine had been broken into and approximately $15 in change was taken. The lock had been drilled out and the change container was missing.
They Stole The Show: Police received a report on July 12 at 6:01 p.m. of a theft from vehicle in the 400 block of Arrowhead Dr. Police met with the complainant who stated that several DVDs were taken from his vehicle overnight.
Couldn’t See The Light: While on routine patrol July 14 at 12:57 A.M., in the 1100 block of Birch Street, police stopped a vehicle for an unlighted license plate. It was discovered at the scene that the driver, a 30-year-old male from Brooklyn Center, was driving with a cancelled license and was subsequently arrested.
So, What’s His Fish Story?: At 12:02 p.m. on July 12 officers were performing a routine check of fishing licenses in the 7500 block of Main St. at the Peltier Lake boat launch. They spoke with a 29-year-old male from Saint Paul who did not have a fishing license. He was then cited for angling without a license.
