Filling A Hole In Their Lives: There was a report that some juveniles were participating in underage drinking in 15000 block of Forest Ave. N. at 7:08 p.m. on June 9. The teens were not found drinking. They were told, however, that they needed to fill in the holes that they had been digging in the north side of the woods.

Game Of Pick (‘em) Up: There was a noise complaint and a juvenile complaint at the Waters Edge Community Center in the 15000 block of Farnham Ave. N. at 2:48 a.m. on June 21. Fifteen juveniles were found playing a game of basketball. They dispersed without incident upon police arrival.

Tale Of The Cat: A cat was reportedly trapped in an unfinished townhouse in the 4900 block of Emmit Dr. N. at 6:46 p.m. on June 26. The deputy could not locate the animal so a window was left open for a short time so that it could escape.

It’s A Jungle Out There: A juvenile concern was reported at Diamond Point East Park at 8:51 p.m. on June 26. Someone had apparently been playing on the jungle gym and another juvenile shot him with an air gun.

A General Rule of Thumb: There was a fingerprint identity check on Oneka Pkwy. near Frenchman Dr. at 1:53 a.m. on June 27.

Their Behavior Was Too Much to Bare: Some juveniles were supposedly sunbathing on Fable Hill Bridge near Elmcrest Ave N. at 3:50 p.m. on June 27.

Left In A “Heartbeat (of America)”: A Blazer smashed into some shingles at a construction site at 157th St. N. and Heritage Dr. N. at 11:20 p.m. on June 28. The shingles weren’t damaged; however, a front grill of a dark-colored Chevy was left at the scene. Officers were unable to locate any suspects.

Stabilizing The Situation: On July 3, loose horses were reported at 8:19 a.m. on Elmcrest Ave. N. near Mel-O-Dee Stables. Police were unable to locate the roaming horses. The employee at the stables who responded to the follow up said that she didn’t know if any of the animals were missing but that she would do a head count.

Not Coming Up Roses: Three flowerpots were taken from a residence in the 6100 block of 150th St. N. at 1:31 p.m. on July 6. These were valued at $50.

Life In The Fast Lane: A 29-year-old male was arrested at 8:28 p.m. on June 25 for 5th degree possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, possession of a small amount of marijuana in a motor vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving after suspension. Originally pulled over for speeding, he was transported to the jail for booking.

Checked Out: A 21-year-old male was arrested sometime on June 26 for some check forgery that occurred in the 7500 block of Lake Dr. and the 800 block of Apollo Dr. The man had written several forged checks at a couple of businesses in Lino Lakes and, after investigating the incidents, the officers were able to arrest the suspect. He was taken to the jail for booking.

OK, Wheeeelie Not A Good Idea: At 8:29 p.m. on June 28 offices responded to a call that someone was driving a dirt bike recklessly on the roadway and doing wheelies in the 8000 block of Danube St. A 20-year-old male was subsequently arrested for underage drinking and driving, operating an off-road motorcycle on public roadways, and driving after revocation.

Needle In A Haystack: On June 30 officers police cited a 39-year-old male for a stop sign violation and for not wearing a seatbelt in the 2100 block of Main Street at 6:58 p.m. The 33-year-old female passenger was arrested for possession of hypodermic needles and for an outstanding warrant.

The Boat Deck: Police responded to an attempted theft and property damage incident that occurred on June 30 in the 6100 block of West Bald Eagle Blvd. when someone tampered with a CD deck and partially removed it from a pontoon.

A Boatload Of Gas: On July 2, police responded to a report of theft and property damage that occurred in the 8000 block of Danube Street when someone cut a gas line on a boat and removed the gas at an unknown time.
