Blowing Smoke Rings?: On May 9 deputies responded to a theft report at a business on Victor Hugo Blvd. N. A customer was inside for 1-½ hours and returned to his vehicle to find that someone had stolen a pewter ring and a pack of Marlboro Lights from inside the truck.

A Remote Possibility: Deputies responded to a theft report at a residence on 149th St. N. on May 13 at 8:07 a.m. The complainant reported that a satellite TV company was at his home doing some work. After they were gone he noticed his Harmony universal remote valued at $350 was missing. The satellite company stated that sub-contractors were doing the job, the subs were contacted and claimed no responsibility.

Don’t Hit The Hay: On May 15 authorities responded to a report of a road hazard at the intersection of 170th St. N. and Forest Blvd. N. They found several large hay bales in the road. The bales were moved out of the lanes of traffic to be claimed by the owner.

Who’s The Iron Man?: Deputies responded to a theft report on May 17 at a residence on Frenchman Rd. N. The complainant stated that someone had stolen scrap iron from a pile outside his barn with an estimated value of $600-$800.

He’s Not Letting The Grass Grow Under His Feet: A resident on Everton Ave. N. reported that when his lawn mower had problems he contacted someone to fix it. The repairman picked up the lawn mower and has not returned it after several weeks. Repeated attempts to contact him have been unsuccessful. Attempts by deputies to contact him were also unsuccessful.


Lino Lakes Police Reports


Who Was Called To The Table: On April 28 police responded to a report of found property. A phone was found on a table in Behm Park. The phone was taken to the Lino Lakes Police property room for storage until claimed.

Not Very Street Smart: Officers responded to a report of a missing street sign in the 6700 block of Sherman Lake Rd. on April 29. It is unknown when the theft occurred. There are no suspects.

Trashy Yard Décor?: On May 1 at 10:57 a.m. officers responded to a report of littering of a yard in the 6500 block of Deerwood Ln. where several items were left by an unknown suspect. The items were removed and placed into the Lino Lakes Police property room.

Single White Mail: Officers responded to a report of mail theft on May 4 in the 100 block of Pine St. After someone found a letter in the ditch that was addressed to a resident on 4th Ave. Suspects were unknown at the time of the report. The found mail was returned.
