This Issue's Statistic: There were four gas driveoff s in Hugo since our last publication.

On A Short Leash: A dog was dropped off at a residence in the 17000 block of Ingersoll Ave. N. on June 1 at 3:24 p.m. The complainant did not know who it belonged to and Animal Control was notified to pick up the animal.

Do You Know Jack?: There was a disabled vehicle blocking traffic at 140th St. N. and Flay Ave. N. on June 1 at 3:41 p.m. AAA could not get there for 45 minutes so someone provided a hydraulic jack to move the vehicle.

Too Chicken To Leave The Road?: Two vehicles were playing chicken and traveling at high rates of speed in at 170th and Forest Blvd. N. on June 1 at 9:23 p.m. The call was transferred to the state.

Losing Sleep Over It: There was a noise complaint at 10:51 p.m. on June 1 in the 13000 block of Europa Trail N. The neighbors were having a loud party and the complainant was upset because they wanted to go to sleep.

Completely In The Dark About It: Someone was driving in the rain without their headlights on in the 5300 block of Frenchman Rd. N. on June 2 at 5:53 p.m.

Ghost.Or Dead Ringer?: Some juveniles were ringing doorbells and running away in the 5600 block of 140th St. N. on June 3 at midnight.

Cow Tipping?: A cow was reportedly mooing at 5:45 a.m. on June 4 and the complainant in the 6500 block of Egg Lake Road said they could not sleep with the windows open. There was another report about this same cow on June 9.

What Doesn't Go Around Comes Around: There was a seatbelt citation given in the 500 block of Frenchman Rd. N. on June 4 at 8:14 a.m.

Artistic License: Someone stole a rear license plate in the 13000 block of Forest Blvd. N. on June 4 at 6:31 p.m. Police advised the complainant to contact DVS to have a new set pf plates issued. They also advised them to put the front plate on the rear of the vehicle for the time being.

Sinking Their Teeth Into The Search: A stainless sink was stolen from a business in the 15000 block of Forest Blvd. N. on June 4. The sink was 8 ft. long and 2.5 ft wide, had three tubs and two faucets and was valued at $1,500. The owner found that the sink had been traded in for recycling at NRI.

Skid Row: A white Toyota was reportedly skidding and tossing gravel in the 4000 block of 126th St. N. on June 6 at 3:53 p.m.

Not A Retail Branch: A branch was trapped in some wires at 180th between Keystone and July Ave. on June 7 at 8:20 p.m.

Xcel Energy was notified. An Enlightening Discovery: A flashlight was found by the owner of a truck in the 4000 block of 126th St. N. on June 7. They did not know what was taken from their vehicle the night before but knew that the flashlight was not theirs and that someone had been in their truck.

It All Comes Out In The Wash: A neighbor was using a loud power washer to clean a boat in the 6100 block of 150th St. N. on June 9 at 1:12 p.m.

Caps Not Off To That: There was a report of a loud graduation party in the 5100 block of Farnham Dr. N. on June 9 at 11:23 p.m. (And doesn't that just take the cake.)

Diving Into The Shallow End Of Th e Gene Pool?: On June 10 at 10:23 p.m. there was a report at Victor Path and Victor Hugo Blvd. N. that some juveniles were breaking lawn chairs. Police checked the area and found some lawn chairs in the pool, but noted no damage to the chairs or the area.

What Mission Is Driving You Forward: A blue Chevy Avalanche was seen driving around the 5800 block of 152nd St. N. for three hours on June 11 at 6:37 a.m.


Lino Lakes Police Reports

This Issue's Statistic: One mountain bike was stolen from a garage in Lino Lakes since our last publication.

Not A Minor Infraction: While performing routine alcohol compliance checks at establishments that sell alcohol in Lino Lakes on May 29, a 42-year-old man was cited in the 6000 block of Hodgson Rd. for selling alcohol to a minor. A 16-year-old female was also charged for selling alcohol to a minor in the 7000 block of 21st Ave.

Not Respecting The Yield Curve: A 55-year-old man was cited in the 7200 block of Sunset Rd. on May 30 at 4:06 p.m. for failing to yield.

Not A Democratic Party: Seven adults and two juveniles were cited for alcohol off enses at a party in the 100 block of White Pine Rd. at 1:29 a.m. on June 3. One male was arrested for fleeing police and obstructing the legal process and one female juvenile was also cited for fleeing, underage consumption and obstruction of the legal process.

Dog-Tagged: A man was cited in the 6800 block of 12th Ave. at 10:34 a.m. on June 4 for possessing a dog that was not licensed with the city.

Packing An Extra Punch: A 17-year-old male was cited for possession of brass knuckles, a dangerous weapon, in the 200 block of Main St. at 10:34 p.m. on June 5. He was stopped for speed and improper lane use, which were also included in his citations.

The Most Pedestrian Advice: A vehicle was struck by another vehicle on the passenger side while waiting to make a turn off of the 7800 block of Lake Dr. on June 7 at 3:44 p.m. The female who struck the vehicle while attempting to go around the other car was cited with failure to drive with due care and driving unaccompanied with a learner's permit.

No injuries were reported.

The Latest News: Some juveniles were observed doing something suspicious in the 300 block of Elm St. on June 9 at midnight. Two males were cited at the scene for underage consumption of alcohol.

Centerville Police Reports

This Issue's Statistic: There was one curfew violation since our last publication.

Something's Fishy: Someone was fishing without a license in the 7000 block of Main St. on May 29 at 1:45 p.m.

Not Just Blowing Smoke: There was an incident of underage tobacco use on June 2 at 11:20 p.m. on North Rd. and Park Dr. A 16-year-old male was cited.

It's A Jungle Out There: A Centerville resident reports that a toy monkey and a toy elephant were taken from the McDonald's Playland on Central St. in Circle Pines at 6:54 a.m. on June 4.

Not Having a Nice Ring To It: A cell phone was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on East Golden Lake Road on June 6 at 9:38 a.m.

Lord Of The Rings: A ring was reported stolen from a house in the 7300 block of Old Mill Road on June 10 at 9:58 p.m.
