Haunted House?: On Oct. 6, deputies responded to a suspicious activity report on Oneka Lake Blvd. N. The complainant stated that the house next door was vacant, but there has been activity there, including vehicles in the driveway at all hours of the night, and sightings of persons through the windows.
Ghouls Got The Tools: Deputies responded to a theft in progress report on Oct. 8 at 12:28 a.m. in the 15000 block of Falcon Cir. N. The complainant stated that his construction trailer had just been stolen. Value of the trailer and tools is estimated to be $11,500. There are no suspects.
Too Many Spirits: On Oct. 8, two customers at a business on Victor Hugo Blvd. were escorted out of the establishment for unruly behavior. Law enforcement arrived to find the two individuals harassing customers in the parking lot and trying to start fights.
Did Somebody Hi-Jack His Lanterns?: A vehicle southbound on Forest Blvd. at 142nd St. N. was stopped on Oct. 9 for no rear lamps. The driver was cited for underage consumption and no rear lamps.
Mummy Antics: Deputies took a report of vandalism on Oct. 9, at a residence on Hyde Ave. Sometime during the night hours someone had TP’d the house and yard. There were no damages, and no suspects.
Tracking For Treats?: On Oct.14, at 11:24 a.m. law enforcement responded to a solicitation complaint at the intersection of Frenchman Rd. and Victor Hugo Blvd. The complainants stated that a solicitor was on the corner, approaching vehicles at the intersection. When officers arrived they were unable to locate the suspect.
Ninja Nonsense: On Oct. 15 deputies responded to a suspicious activity report on 152nd St. N. The complainant saw two suspicious juveniles in the yard wearing all black, with black hoodies. They appeared to be snooping around the neighborhood. When authorities arrived they were unable to locate the individuals.
Night-Mares: Sometime during the night hours on Oct. 17, unknown suspect(s) cut a horse fence and removed it from the posts at a residence on Elmcrest Ave. N. The complainant discovered horses running around the yard in the morning.

They Could Taste Blood, But Grandpa Was No Sucker: On Sept. 30 officers received a report of possible fraud. An unknown caller was posing as the grandson of the complainant and wanted him to send $5,000 to Canada to get him out of jail. The complainant contacted his grandson, who was not in jail, and realized it was a scam.
Where-Wolf In Sheep’s Clothing: On Oct. 1 officers responded to a report of theft by swindle that occurred in the 1300 block of Wolf Cir. When the homeowners hired a contractor to roof and replace siding last fall, they gave the contractor $7,000 for a down payment and as of the present date the work has not been done. The case is currently under investigation.
A Vamp-Higher an A Kite: Police responded to a report of a female in a parking lot causing problems on Oct. 5. Upon arrival in the 8000 block of Lake Dr. they observed an intoxicated woman being obscene. The 40-year-old St. Paul woman was arrested for disorderly conduct and transported to detox.
Creatures Of The Night: On Oct. 7 police responded to a theft report in the 400 block of Lilac St. Unknown suspect(s) removed a trailer from a parking lot some time during the night hours.
Disappearing Cauldrons: Police responded to a theft report on Oct. 8 in the 100 block of Shetland Ln. Unknown suspect(s) removed two large water tanks from the intersection of Century Tr. and Robinson Dr. some time during the night hours.
Trolling For A Motor: officers responded to a report of theft from a parking lot in the 7400 block of Main St. on Oct. 10 when unknown suspect(s) removed a boat motor from the parking lot between 5 and 11 a.m. The motor was a 3.6 horsepower Chrysler motor, tan in color with a blue fuel line.
A Pair Possessed: Police arrested two 33-year-old Minneapolis men at I-35W and Lake Dr. on Oct. 12 for possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of theft tools, tampering with a motor vehicle, driving aft er revocation and outstanding warrants.
Centerville Police Reports
Franken-Signs: Officers responded to a vandalism report in the 7300 block of Old Mill Rd. on Sept. 22. The complainant stated that someone had destroyed two signs on the property. The signs had been twisted and bent. Approximate value of signs is $50.
Who Showed em To The Doors?: On Sept. 30 officers responded to a theft report in the 2000 block of Gateway Cir. The complainant reported that two scrap aluminum doors were stolen from the property sometime in the night.
Ghostly Disappearance: Police responded to a theft report on Oct. 9 in the 2000 block of Willow Cir. The complainant stated that he left for work at 8 a.m. and a landscape crew was in the yard working. When he returned there were muddy footprints inside his home and $2 was missing from the kitchen counter. Officers found no evidence of forced entry.
