Who’s The Chicken?: On April 9 officers responded to two reports of egging incidents. A resident on Finale Ave. N. reported a vehicle was egged overnight, and a residence on Ferrara Ave. N. had eggs thrown at the siding and windows of the home.

Shots Fired: Officers responded to a report of vandalism in the 12000 block of Upper Heather Ave. N. on April 9. Someone shot a bullet through the garage door during the night. The bullet also hit the car that was parked inside the garage. Officers found the bullet inside the garage but have no suspects.

No Credit For Good Behavior: A resident on Victor Path reported on April 10 that their credit card had been stolen. Further investigation showed that over $600 was charged to the card at the Mall of America.

Jeepers Creepers!: On April 10, someone reported a suspicious vehicle on 159th St. N. and Forest Blvd. The complainant stated that an older maroon-colored vehicle had been creeping around the neighborhood. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

Rock-A-Bye-Maybe: A resident in the 14000 block of Garden Way N. reported a missing landscape rock on April 14 at 3:02 p.m. Officers later found a rock at the end of the road and returned it to the residence. The complainant believed the rock looked familiar, and may have been the missing rock.

Something Looks Fishy: On April 14 officers responded to a report of a suspicious situation on 130th St. N. Several cars were parked along the roadway for no apparent reason. Officers arrived and discovered the vehicle owners fishing nearby. When the fishermen were unable to show a fishing license, they were told to leave.

More Shots Fired: Officers responded to a report of vandalism in the 5900 block of 138th St. N. on April 16. Complainant found two windows on the east side of the house had been shot with BB guns. There are no suspects.

Didn’t Have A Leg To Stand On: Officers responded to a report of possible vandalism on April 18 in the 6000 block of 135th St. N. Someone found a foosball table with no legs lying in the road.

Burglary Nets Nothing: A business on Forest Blvd. N. reported a burglary on April 21. The office door had been broken, apparently with a masonry block, which was found broken on the patio. There were also several pry marks on the door. Nothing appeared to be missing, however the owner stated that money has been stolen from the premises in the past.

Losing Their Focus: On April 22, officers responded to a report of a vehicle theft on Emmit Dr. N. The complainant stated that their Ford Focus had been stolen overnight. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the vehicle had been towed by the townhome association for illegal parking.


Lino Lakes Police Reports


Nothing Entered, Nothing Gained: Officers responded to a report of an attempted burglary that occurred in the 400 block of Andall Street on April 2. Unknown suspect(s) attempted to gain access to the residence some time within the past week, but were unable to make entry. Dinner’s On The Grille: Officers responded to a car-hit-deer property damage accident in the 7300 block of Sunset Rd. on April 2. The driver was issued a deer possession tag and was allowed to keep the deer. No human injuries were reported.

My Fare Lady: On April 11, officers responded to the 7500 block of Lake Dr. for a report of an individual disturbing the peace. The complainant, a female taxi driver, stated that the passenger was having her transport him to multiple places and not paying his cab fare. The passenger, a 32-year-old male from Minneapolis, was subsequently arrested for disorderly conduct and booked into Anoka County Jail.

Armed—And Dangerous: Officers responded to a report of a school bus stop arm violation that occurred in the 400 block of Hawthorne Rd. on April 15 at 4:12 p.m. Subsequently, a 19-year-old from Lino Lakes was cited for the violation.

No Way To Get Your Kicks: Sometime during the night hours on April 19, someone kicked in the door to a detached garage in the 700 block of Oak Ln. No items were found to be missing. Definitely Not Refined Behavior: Officers received a report of burglary in the 6600 block of White Birch Ct. on April 20. The complainant stated that two males entered his garage and stole a gas can. The suspect(s) left in a charcoal four-door passenger car with chrome rims. No other items were reported stolen.

Taken For A Ride: A resident in the 500 block of Birch St. reported a theft on April 20. The complainant stated that someone had taken two bikes from the residence.
