This Issue's Statistic: With the high price of gasoline, there were a number of incidents of individuals driving off after pumping gas. There was one incident, however, where a person who did this actually returned and paid.

One Of Our Own: There was a report of a suspicious male in the 7900 block of 147th St. N. at 7:32 a.m. on March 26. It turned out that the suspect vehicle belonged to someone who was working on the Washington County Sheriff 's Offi ce radio system.

A Sticky Situation: Someone in the 4900 block of 130th St. N. called at 2:34 p.m. on March 27 to report that someone had put syrup and whipped cream on their car two weeks prior.

No News Is Good News: Two parties were reported engaging in a fi ght in the 4500 block of Victor Path at 8:26 p.m. on March 27. These two individuals had been giving out free copies of one of the two local Twin Cities major newspapers and were arguing about where would be good places to stop.

"The Day The Music Died": There was an Ipod stolen at Oneka Elementary school on Heritage Pkwy. N. at 2:02 p.m. on March 28.

Goose Bumps: At 9:43 p.m. on March 28 a suspicious vehicle was reported in the parking lot of the Blacksmith Lounge on Forest Blvd. N. A pick-up truck there ended up having a bunch of snow and dead Canada geese in the bed of the truck. The complainant was told that it currently is legal to hunt geese and they could contact the DNR if they had further concerns.

Not Spooling Anyone: On March 29 at 2:38 a.m. someone in the 5500 block of 141st St. N. was cited for burning hazardous material without a permit. Officers onscene found a large wooden wire spool on fire and some black motor oil dribbling from the blaze.

The suspect put out the fire with snow.

A Regular Round-Up:

There were 30-40 loose cows milling in the roadway at 1:54 p.m. on March 29 at 152nd St. N. just west of Keystone Ave. N. The owner and a neighbor had the animals contained upon deputies' arrival.

Car-ma: A red Dodge did a U-turn in the 4800 block of 180th St. N. at 2:51 p.m. on March 30 and got stuck in the mud on someone's private property. They got out and told deputies they were looking for a relative's farm.

Trolling And Pa-trolling: There was a loitering complaint in the 4800 block of Fable Hill Pkwy N. at 4:36 p.m. on March 30. Two females were seen lurking under a neighborhood bridge for around two hours. These individuals were gone upon arrival.

Spring Break: A snowmobile fell through the ice of a pond at Frenchman Rd. N. and Oneka Pkwy. N. at 1:37 p.m. on April 1. Th e registered owner did not go into the water. He said that he hadn't realized it was private property.

Kids Go Wild: Someone called on April 4 at 1:53 p.m. from 132nd St. N. at Goodview to report that there were four juveniles riding BMX bikes through the properties in the area. The complainant said that they were intentionally scaring the wildlife. Deputies were unable to locate these individuals.

Holy Cow-asaki: A Kawasaki end loader was involved in a car accident at 4:31 p.m. on April 5 in the 13000 block of Fenway Ave. N.

Just Plain Scary: There was a crowbar and some night vision goggles found in an undisclosed backyard in Hugo on April 5. These were placed into evidence.

How Low Can You Go?: Two flags were stolen from the 13000 block of Fenway Blvd. N. at 9:42 a.m. on April 8. One was a POW flag and another was an American flag. Value was placed at $250 for both.


Lino Lakes Police Reports

Dog'Nabbit: At 1:52 p.m. on March 27 offi cers responded to a theft of a dog in the 100 block of Egret Lane. A 43-year-old male was cited for theft of the dog and a 49-year-old male was cited for having dog running at large.

Don't Touch The Merchandise: On March 30 during nighttime hours an unknown suspect entered a locked vehicle in the 6400 block of Trappers Crossing and removed $3000 worth of merchandise.

Absolut-ly Not OK: Officers responded to a theft report in the 700 block of Apollo Drive on April 3 at 4:44 p.m. An unknown male had apparently removed two bottles of vodka from a business and left the store without paying for them.

Jump-Starting The Search: Offi cers responded to a report of property damage that occurred in the 7800 block of Country Lane when unknown suspect(s) made several cuts on the jump surface of a trampoline at an unknown time on April 3.

Sign Says, "Stop What You're Doing": Officers responded to a report of property damage that occurred in the 7200 block of Meadow Court when unknown suspect(s) spray-painted a stop sign and a utility box at an unknown time on April 6.

Trying To Locate The Crook: Officers responded to a report of a theft that occurred in the 100 block of Egret Lane when unknown suspect(s) entered a vehicle and removed a Garmin GPS and cord sometime during the nighttime hours on April 13.
