This Issue's Statistic: There was one citation given for parking in a No Parking Zone since our last publication.
Sacking The Hackeysackers: Four juvenile males were reportedly acting very suspiciously in the Lions Club Park Area on 146th St. N. on May 1 at 9:97 p.m. Deputies noted that the males had a dark car with a loud exhaust and that they were playing hackeysack.
Receiver Not Receiving: There were several reports of a suspicious or drunk woman in a green sweatshirt using a pay phone in the 14000 block of Forest Blvd. N. in the afternoon hours on May 2. She had apparently been using the phone for hours and at times appeared to be damaging the receiver. When deputies spoke to the woman, she said that she used the phone to talk to her boyfriend and that the phone ate her money.
Darting Here And There: A juvenile male was shooting at birds with a toy gun with plastic darts at 7 p.m. on May 5 in the woods behind 132nd Way N. Officers spoke to the juvenile's father and he said that he would keep an eye on his son.
Seedy Dealings: Someone in the 4000 block of Heritage Parkway N. called at 12:50 p.m. on May 6 to report that some ornamental-type flower displays had been left at her door. She thought that it might be juveniles playing a prank but was confused as to why they had chosen her house since she didn't have any young children.
That's Just Rubbish: Three juveniles were seen going through a dumpster in the newly-constructed houses in the 5000 block of 159th St. N. at 11:35 p.m. on May 6. Deputies were unable to locate anyone upon arrival but did find some beer bottles. No damage was reported.
Hotly Debated Incident: A gas grill aluminum case was taken from a business in the 5000 block of 140th St. N. on May 7 at 2:08 p.m. (There weren't any suspects to grill for information.)
Coming Together Bit By Bit?: Someone in the 14000 block of Garden Way N. called at 8:56 p.m. on May 7 to report a theft. The complainant had apparently bought a computer from eBay and had sent a check for $1,131 to Missouri. The check had been cashed but the complainant had not received his purchase. The seller had promised to refund the money and the complainant submitted the e-mail exchange and a copy of the check as evidence.
Not A Secure Sight: Someone from the 8000 block of 140th St. N. called at 2:13 p.m. on May 8 to report a theft. The complainant said that they had rented a spot for a moving van four years ago and now $2500-$5000 worth of personal belongings had been taken. They showed deputies that there was only trash in the storage space now, and said that they had last seen their belongings in the fall. Officers spoke to the owners of the storage space. They could not remember when the complainant had last paid for the spot but thought they had received payment three years ago. The owner wanted to treat the van as abandoned property and have it towed.
A Very Juvenile Crime: Someone called at 7:22 p.m. on May 8 to report vandalism to some playground equipment in the 14000 block of Mercantile Dr. N. An employee of a business there explained that some juveniles had used their playground equipment as a restroom.
Revving Their Engines: There were several complaints on May 10 about the noise resulting from a motorcycle testing unit in business in the 12000 block of Farnham Ave. N. Sheriff deputies contacted the business; personnel explained that it was a temporary situation.
Pointing Them In The Right Direction: A male was seen walking on the tree line near the pond in the 4000 block of 149th St. N. on May 10 at 8:31 p.m. Officers located the individual and noted that he had an air gun. Deputies spoke to the shooter's father and he was advised to watch his son.
Music Junkie: A book of burned metal music CDs was found at 157th and Homestead at 1:04 p.m. on May 11.
Coming Out Of Their Shell: A vehicle was egged and also vandalized with syrup at 138th and Flay Ave. N. on May 12 at 3:04 a.m. Three juveniles were seen fleeing the scene. Another report came in at 12:14 that evening in the 13000 block of Flay Ave. N. where another house was egged.
Not The Answer Key: An individual pounded on a door in the 6000 block of 145th St. N. at 4:47 a.m. on May 13. This person then checked under the doormat and tried to get into the house. After this they sped away in a tealcolored vehicle.
A Short Cut On Hot Heat: The night manager at Festival Foods in the 14000 block of Victor Hugo Blvd. N. called at 6:41 p.m. on May 13 to report a theft. A woman with short brown hair had asked for some high-end meat and seafood items and then taken over $500 worth of food. Police took the pictures captured on the surveillance videos as evidence.
Go-Away Karts: On May 15 at 5:14 p.m. someone called to report a noise complaint in the 6100 block of 180th St. N. Officers found that the noise was due to go-karts but that these were on private property.
Lino Lakes Police Reports
This Issue's Statistic: There was one child restraint violation in Lino Lakes since our last publication.
Not A Tree Hugger: On May 2 there was a report of damage to property in the 7700 block of 4th Ave. when an unknown suspect cut down six trees.
Not My Kind Of Music: During nighttime hours on May 4 someone entered an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway in the 7300 block of Sunset Rd. and removed a briefcase. A stereo was also removed from the vehicle but it was left at the scene.
CD Release: On May 4 several compact discs were taken from a vehicle in the 100 block of Marvy St. sometime during evening hours.
Not All It's Cracked Up To Be: In the 2100 block of 64th St. on May 5 someone damaged a windshield of a vehicle sometime during nighttime hours.
Objecting To The Object: An unknown suspect threw an object from a vehicle in the 100 block of Ash St. and hit another vehicle at 1:47 a.m. on May 6.
A Brush With The Law: On May 9 during nighttime hours, a brush guard valued at $800 was taken from a residence in the 500 block of Apollo Dr.
In The Blink Of An Eye: A juvenile male was cited at 8:45 a.m. on May 11 in the 7000 block of 2nd Ave. for operating an unregistered vehicle, not having a motorcycle endorsement, and not wearing protective eyewear while operating a mini-bike.

Centerville Police Reports
This Issue's Statistic: There were 12 incidents of underage consumption in Centerville since our last publication.
A Flurry Of Activity: A snowblower and a commercial fan were taken from a shed in the 9000 block of Lake Dr. at 10:26 a.m. on May 7.
Taking Tailgating To Extremes: A tailgate and tires were removed from a parked truck in the 9000 block of Lake Dr. on May 12 at 9:20 a.m.
Getting Burned On Stolen Music: Some CDs were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on W. Garden Lake Rd. at 10:50 p.m. on May 12.
