The Teddy Bear Charade: There was a juvenile concern in the 5000 block of 149th St. N. on July 3 at 5:24 p.m. Some kids were climbing on a rooft op in an attempt to retrieve a stuffed animal.
WorldWide … Problem: At 2:41 p.m. on July 7 someone called from the 12000 block of Homestead Dr. N. to report that they had received an e-mail that said they were one of the lucky few to win millions in British pounds. This turned out to be an e-mail scam.
That Sinking Feeling: Some suspicious activity was reported in the 5300 block of 128th St. N. at 9:16 p.m. on July 10. A delivery company had dropped off an item in someone’s garage and had entered the home in order to make the delivery. The package contained a double sink and it was dropped off at the wrong address. Deputies left a message with the appropriate recipient.
Losing Sleep-Over It: Some juveniles were seen walking at 140th and Highway 61 at 1:08 a.m. on July 11. Officers questioned them and found that they were having a sleepover in the backyard and had gone on a walk to the gas station. Deputies advised them of curfew.
Soda Seemed Strange: At 9:30 a.m. on July 12 someone from the 13000 block of Europa Tr. Way N. called to report that a laptop in a black case was found on top of his motor vehicle. He had previously had four 12-packs of pop in his front seat and these had been taken. There was no other damage.
Not High And Dry: Someone in the 15000 block of French Dr. N. called at midnight on July 13 to request police check the area. The complainant had heard a popping noise. It turned out to have been water hitting the window as a sprinkler had just finished running its cycle.
Not A Welcome Guest: A suspicious vehicle was reported in the guest parking spot at a building in the 4300 block of Victor Path at 11:28 a.m. on July 14. The vehicle apparently did not work. Officers told the complainant that they could tow the car.
