To Cap It Off: At 9:45 a.m. on May 30 a disturbance was reported in the 14000 block of Forest Blvd. N. Apparently there was a man wearing a winter cap and talking very loudly on a pay phone.

Reed Between The Lines: There was a cattail burning complaint at Fiona Ave. N. and 134th St. N. at 8:57 p.m. on June 6. A legal recreational fire was found at the scene.

Out On A Limb: Several trucks belonging to some tree trimmers were reportedly blocking the road at 122nd St. N. just west of Everton Ave. N. at 9:59 a.m. on June 9. Deputies found warning signs posted appropriately.

Pet Peeve: There was a report of a barking dog in the 15000 block of Foster Dr. N. at 3:20 p.m. on June 9.

Not Hum Drum: There was a noise complaint at 6:41 p.m. on June 11 in the 5100 block of 158th St. N. Someone was apparently playing drums; the complainant said the drummer had put up a notice on his garage that he was recording and that others should not disturb him.

Wii Were Robbed: A Nintendo Wii and some games and jewelry were taken from a residence in the 5500 block of 145th St. N. at 8:28 p.m. on June 12. In A Snap: There was a report of a snapping turtle in the roadway in the 6000 block of 138th St. N. at 8:01 a.m. on June 13. The turtle was gone on police arrival.

Why The Extra Long Face?: There was a report of an extra thin horse in the 13000 block of Henna Ave. N. at 3:11 p.m. on June 13. The horse was eating grass when deputies arrived on scene.

Greasing The Wheels: Some suspicious activity was reported at the new soccer field at 11:22 p.m. in the 7100 block of 137th St. N. on June 15. Some machines were heard but there were no lights seen. It turned out that an operator at the construction site was greasing a machine. This person agreed to finish the job in the morning.

Early Bird Gets The .Ticket: A noise ordinance violation occurred in the 14000 block of Geneva Way N. at 5:49 a.m. on June 16. The contractors who were putting up siding had wanted to get an early start while the weather was good. They were told to wait until 7:00 a.m.

The Grass Was Not Greener Over There: Two juveniles were seen running through the long grass in the 5300 block of 145th St. N. at 6:34 a.m. on June 16. They were given citations for minor consumption.

Up To Speed: A speed limit sign was changed to read 80 miles per hour around 7:30 p.m. on June 18 on Egg Lake Road near Foxhill Ave. N. The county shop was notified.

A Troubled Bridge Over Water: There was a loitering complaint somewhere on Fable Hill Parkway at 8:24 p.m. on June 18. Eight juveniles were hanging out on a bridge but were gone on police arrival.

Scoot 2 It: There was a complaint of juveniles on scooters at 147th St. N. and Goodview Ave. N. at 9:55 p.m. on June 19. They were apparently operating the scooters without the lights on. Deputies were unable to locate the teens.

Up A Creek Without A Paddle: A paddle boat was stolen from the 1500 block of Lamotte Dr. at an unknown time on June 12.

Smokey, Bear With Me: An unattended fire was reported in the 500 block of Lois Lane at 12:54 p.m. on June 14. Police found an active and unattended recreational fire and a 53-year-old male was cited for violating the city burning ordinance.

Not A Bright Idea: A 24-year-old male was stopped at 1:02 a.m. on June 15 in the 7500 block of Lake Drive for failing to dim the high beams on his motor vehicle. He was subsequently arrested for 4th degree DWI.

A Night And Day Difference: Officers stopped and cited a driver for operating a vehicle without headlights in the 300 block of Main St. at 10:31 p.m. on June 18. The passenger in the car was arrested for underage consumption of alcohol.

Paintballs To The Wall: There was a vandalism complaint in the 1000 block of Lantern Lane on the night of June 20. Some unknown suspects had apparently shot paintballs at the side of a house and then run off. Two juvenile males were located and they admitted to shooting the residence with paintballs. Both were forwarded to a diversion program.

Gunning For A Fine: An adult male was arrested in the 7500 block of Lake Drive at 3:54 a.m. on June 22 for possession of a handgun without a permit, possession of a small amount of marijuana, and 5th degree possession of cocaine. He was transported to the jail for booking.

 at Doesn't Rock: Someone stole a set of keys from a motor vehicle and cut down a hammock in a backyard of a residence in the 800 block of Lois Lane sometime during the nighttime hours of June 23.

Scrambled Away: Some juveniles egged a motor vehicle in the 4900 block of 130th St. N sometime on June 1. The egg was able to be removed from the car. Th ere are no suspects at this time.

Needs An Extension: A dumpster diver had reportedly taken five extension cords from a trash pile on Fensen Ct. N. and Oneka Pkwy. at 8:08 a.m. on June 6.
